Bring a show to Gotham
So you're interested in putting up your show at Gotham City Improv?  Performance rental slots are defined as roughly an hour of performance time, with approximately an hour or so beforehand to warm-up as well (though this might be done in a room other than the theater depending on the performance schedule for a given night).  Each hour long slot costs $175.00 flat.  Beyond that, you set your own ticket price and you keep 100% of the box office take.

Also included in that fee:
— use of the Gotham City Improv reservation line and reservation list for management of your audience
— a Gotham City Improv box office staff member to wrangle the audience and money handling responsibilities
— inclusion on our webpage show calendar as well as in our weekly promotional newsletter
— use of our plasma screen monitors in the theater should you wish to utilize video as part of your performance
— a Gotham City Improv tech person to run lights, sound, and video

Some groups choose to bring someone in who is familiar with their specific style or show rhythms to make the decisions on lighting and sound.  If you have a preferred tech person that you often work with, they're more than welcome to be present and assist with any tech heavy moments.  But the light and sound duties are a bit involved at our space and definitely require a bit of time to learn beforehand.  That's why we prefer to have one of our tech people present for any significant tech tasks (with or without the assistance of your director or preferred techie).

We also ask that your show wouldn't require too much set-up and tear-down or use fire, smoke, food, gum, etc.  Simply for the sake of an easy clean-up and transition between shows, keeping it relatively simple is ideal.
