Level IV Improv: Improv and Sketch |

Ten 3-hour classes, once per week.
Prerequisite: Level III
This course will be about putting up a sketch show at the end of 10 weeks, Using sketch and improv for the special show which will run over 2 nights on a Friday and Saturday.
Following colpleation of class students can then be asked to Join our Shortform Company or our Sketch Comoany or perhaps Both.
Emphasis is placed on ensemble playing. Scenes are connected and built upon as part of a longer improvised format that paints a larger picture. Classmates work together using the building blocks of dynamic scenes and great characters to pull cohesive, fully improvised shows out of thin air. The final class will be a performance hosted by the students.
Students who have successfully completed Level IV are eligible for membership in our House Ensembles. |
