Level I Improv: Introduction to Improv |

Prerequisite: age 16 or older .
Beginning with trust and relaxation exercises, students learn that there is nothing to fear – only fun to be had – in the world of improvisation.
Through the use of specific techniques, students gain confidence while acquiring the fundamental skills that allow them to create scenes and stories using nothing but their imaginations and each other – all completely on-the-spot. Throughout the course, a variety of short-form improv games (like those seen on Whose Line Is It Anyway?) will be introduced as a fun way to apply newly acquired skills. The final class will be a performance, hosted by the instructor, where students can demonstrate their new skills to invited guests. |
