CHAD TAYLOR was born in
Pittsburgh, PA which he refuses to call the Mid-West. Throughout his
Mid-West upbringing, Chad was called both "overzealous" and
"a pest" by many teachers, prompting one to write: "Chad’s
constant attempts to be funny in class have become annoying."
He hasn’t stopped.
You may have seen Chad in
commercials for Wendy’s and ABC, but you probably didn’t see him jumping
up and down at the back of a 1-800-COLLECT commercial. You certainly
haven’t seen him in any of the corporate industrials he’s done. But they
say, if you squint your eyes just right, you’ll see him on stage with his
friends at Gotham City.
As for Pittsburgh . . .
well there’s an old saying from the Steel City that goes: "Yunz
can take the steel outta the boy, ‘n that, but yunz can’t red up the boy
outta no steel."
Or words to that effect.
